Oh the messes at our house!

Mr. Independent won't let anyone feed him so the messes at meal time are big and getting bigger! At least he is enjoying himself...

Just practicing on my most cooperative subject!

I am learning a lot about photography right now since I got am amazing book! I wanted to practice some of my new skills and of course Caden was happy to help out. He loves having his picture taken! Brady kept yelling I don't want you to take my picture even though I was no where near him and Lincoln just doesn't sit still so I decided that I'd just do Caden. I'll get the other ones soon! I love this picture of Caden.

Summer is here!

It is Memorial Day weekend and we have had so much fun! We started with no plans, but haven't stopped for a second. Friday night the kids had friends over and then we went to an outside movie night at a neighbors complete with a HUGE outside movie screen, popcorn, candy, nachos and lots of fun. Saturday morning the big boys went skateboarding with the neighborhood crew and then we picked them up and headed to the zoo with some college friends and their kids. After naps the zoo friends came over for pizza, a bonfire and marshmallows (see pics of that here http://www.erinkphotography.com/apps/blog/entries/show/1054172-summer-fun ) and then we spend the day today outside...watermelon, 4 wheelers, sprinklers, all the summer fun we have missed so much!

My life in pictures

3 boys who mostly hang on me, but also occassionally...

eat rocks,

be silly,

be sweet (once in awhile),

hang from trees,

pose for the camera (Caden loves it, Brady and Lincoln on the other hand do NOT),

lay in the grass,

play with mom,

cry (alot these days, with a runny nose and drool ALWAYS),

and run from the others (which I tend to do as well)!

Happy 1st birthday to my last (yes LAST) baby!

Lincoln turned one on April 8th, but since he is the 3rd child and we were on vacation he just got his birthday pictures and cake today...hey it's still April! For some reason I have a really hard time taking pictures of him, they just don't do him justice. He won't sit still and he will NOT look at the camera. But this is him....

I tried to get some of him before the cake came, it was not happening. In this one is is "winding up" before...

...he took off crawling!

So in an effort to get him to sit still, I brought on the cake!

It worked! He is sitting still AND looking at me!

Now he is a TOTAL disaster, he even put his knee and his foot in the cake! He had so much fun doing it though. We sang happy birthday and he loves to clap at the end of the song...

Snow snow go away....

Yes, we got snow again and it is snowing right now as I write this and it's April!!! The boys don't seem to mind, but I am even more excited to leave for Mexico to escape this for a little while.
